Utilities Included in the DiscWizard Program Suite: Download DiscWizard now. DiscWizard is a Windows-based program designed to help end-users add a new drive to a functional system. To take advantage of DiscWizard, you must have at least one drive already installed and be running Windows. This valuable piece of software provides detailed, step-by-step, installation instructions that can be printed for reference if needed. Disk ManagerŽ is a DOS-based program, meaning it is not limited to Windows. Therefore, all end-users installing a new disc drive, including those with high-speed Pentium chips, will benefit from this program. In addition to solving BIOS limitations for older systems, Disk Manager facilitates extremely fast partitioning and formatting for both old and new systems. FileCopy is targeted toward any person upgrading a system with a new drive as the lead component. FileCopy manages the transfer of data from the old drive, which becomes the slave, to the new drive, which becomes the master. Even hidden files are transferred. FileCopy also solves the logistical issue of reversing the positions when you replace a functioning, existing drive with a new drive. CD-Update serves as a valuable tool for anyone installing a new drive in a system with an existing CD-ROM. When you install a new drive, the CD-ROM can often be bumped several letters, making it impossible for your system to locate that peripheral. This dilemma is becoming increasingly prevalent as larger drives become popular. By scanning the drive and updating the .INI files, CD-Update allows your applications to find the CD-ROM. Seagate's 32-bit disc access driver for Windows 3.x is a performance- enhanced driver for drives greater than 528 Mbytes and less than 8.4 Gbytes. While Windows 95 has this software built-in, Seagate provides SEG32BIT.386 because 32-bits is the preferred way to send data from the Windows 3.x operating system to the disc drive.
